OUR PROCESS
How WE Work
Our cabinetry is designed and produced entirely in Italy, fully custom and built to order. To give you a clear sense of what to expect, here is how we typically structure projects with our designer partners.
DEFINING YOUR VISION
From the very first conversation, we take time to understand the full scope and aesthetic of your project. Our team listens intently, draws from the inspirations you bring or provide us online. We began crafting a clear, intentional direction to your design goals, timeline, and investment.

PHASED PRICING
We begin with one anchor area — a kitchen, a primary bath, or a defining millwork feature — to establish pricing, materials, and level of detail before pricing the broader scope. A detailed quote for an initial space typically takes up to approximately one and a half weeks to prepare. Each quote is prepared specifically for the project named above and is valid for 30 days from issuance. Once the initial quote has been reviewed and you wish to proceed with pricing the remaining scope, we ask for a modest Pricing Engagement Retainer before our estimating team begins broader-scope work. This step keeps the process focused on both sides and ensures our team can dedicate the time the project deserves. The retainer is credited in full toward the final invoice upon order.
Design & Engineering Retainer
Once the project moves into order, a Design & Engineering Retainer engages our senior team for detailed plan review, shop drawings, and full design collaboration through approval. Like the Pricing Engagement Retainer, it is credited in full toward the final invoice. The figure is scaled to the scope of the project and is shared at the time of the formal quote.
Order, Deposit and Production Schedule
Production is scheduled upon receipt of an initial deposit and final approval of shop drawings. Our payment structure follows the convention typical of European ateliers, modified to reflect our role through installation: a deposit at order, a progress payment prior to shipping, a balance upon delivery to site, and a final holdback released at substantial completion of installation. Complete project terms accompany the formal quote.
Drawings and Approvals
All production is based on fully approved shop drawings. We work closely with you through this phase, so every detail is resolved before anything reaches the factory floor. Final field measurements are coordinated with your contractor prior to release for production.
Lead Times
Our current lead times are approximately 14–16 weeks from final approval of shop drawings and receipt of deposit. Because every piece is fully custom and produced in our Italian factory, we ask clients to be mindful that the factory closes for the month of August each year — early alignment on timing keeps the project on track.
Revisions and Scope Changes
We are collaborative by nature, but to protect both quality and timeline, we close out each phase before moving to the next. Material changes to scope after approvals may affect pricing and lead times, and we will always communicate any impact transparently before proceeding.
Delivery and Installation
All goods are shipped from Italy and delivered white-glove to the project site. Our team handles freight coordination, on-site receiving, and installation, ensuring the work is executed with the same care it received in production. A site readiness checklist is reviewed with your contractor prior to delivery to confirm conditions are right for installation, and substantial completion is established against a defined punch list at the close of the project.
